Thermage FLX

What it is

Thermage FLX is the fourth generation of the Thermage platform. Monopolar radiofrequency heats the dermis and the fibrous septae beneath it, contracting existing collagen and prompting new collagen over the following months.

What the fourth generation changed

The tip area is larger, so a full face is covered in fewer passes, and an automatic guidance algorithm sets the energy from the impedance it reads at each placement rather than from a fixed number. There is a dedicated tip for the thin skin around the eyes.

What it treats

Firmness and elasticity, enlarged pores, fine lines and overall skin re-texturing. It is the device we reach for when the complaint is skin quality as much as sagging.

Session and interval

A session runs 40 minutes to an hour. You return to normal life the same day. The result holds roughly ten months to a year, and a ten-month interval is what we recommend between sessions.
