Bidirectional cones in an asymmetric arrangement, in a softer material. The vector is easier to control, so it suits fine adjustments and thinner tissue.

What happens as the thread dissolves

All three are absorbable. As the thread breaks down it stimulates fibroblasts, so the tissue lays down collagen and elastin along the line it was placed — the reason a thread result outlives the thread itself.
