Vaginal Tightening and Labiaplasty in Korea: Published Costs and What They Cover

Intimate procedures are the part of a clinic visit people research most carefully and ask about least. This guide sets out what non-surgical vaginal tightening, labiaplasty and the related procedures involve at a Seoul clinic that publishes its prices, what each item on that list actually covers, and what to expect from the consultation itself — including who will be in the room.

The prices below are the published list prices of HOMMAGE Clinic in Gangnam, in Korean won and excluding 10% VAT. The women's care practice there is led by Dr. Park Yuna, a board-certified specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology with more than ten years in practice, and every doctor a patient sees in this part of the clinic is a woman.

Non-surgical vaginal tightening: the devices and what they cost

Non-surgical tightening is device-led. Which device is used depends on the tissue, on what you are trying to change — laxity after childbirth, pelvic floor tone — and on how much downtime you can accept. HOMMAGE works with six: Viveve 1.0 and Viveve 2.0, which are cryogen-cooled monopolar radiofrequency; Vaginal Thera, which is focused ultrasound; Revive; Vaginal Sonocare; and a vaginal pressure gauge.

The pressure gauge is the part worth noticing. Pelvic floor tone can be measured, so the gauge gives a number before treatment and a number after it. Without that, a tightening result is whatever both parties agree to call it. If you are comparing clinics, ask how the result is assessed.

Each device is quoted by shot count, because the shot count is what determines the coverage, not the session length:

Labiaplasty: the instrument, the design and the price

Labiaplasty at HOMMAGE is done with Vesalius, an instrument that cuts and seals in the same pass. It cuts by quantum molecular resonance at around 50 to 60°C rather than with the high heat of older lasers, and sealing as it cuts is what keeps the bleeding, the swelling and the operating time down in tissue this sensitive.

The clinic's position on design is that the labia minora are not a flat edge, so trimming them to a line is what produces the results patients later come to have revised. The design is done in three dimensions, and colour is addressed together with shape rather than as a second procedure. Where an edge does not need excision, micro-sculpting injection is used for fine contour correction instead.

The procedure runs as a consultation and examination, then the plan is confirmed; the operation is done under local or general anaesthesia depending on the plan, typically takes about 40 minutes, and is followed by aftercare instructions and discharge the same day. It is performed by Dr. Park Yuna, who sees the patient from the first consultation through recovery.

Bilateral labiaplasty is one figure. Hood and fold corrections are quoted separately, each per site, so a plan that includes them is the sum of the lines. Who it suits, in the clinic's own description: noticeable asymmetry, elongated or lax labia, prominent folds, recurrent irritation where enlargement is the cause, concern about darker pigmentation, and revision of a trim done elsewhere.

Vaginal plasty and hymen restoration

Vaginal plasty covers embossing vaginoplasty, perineal plastic surgery, pelvic muscle reconstruction and vaginal filler. Which of these a patient needs is a surgical judgement made on examination, not something that can be decided from a message. The work is done with a three-dimensional laser technique rather than by simple excision and closure.

Intimate whitening is listed per course or per session, by area:

What the consultation is like

This is the question most people have and do not ask. At HOMMAGE the consultation happens in a private room with a female doctor. Nothing is examined without your agreement. Nothing is scheduled on the day you first ask about it unless you want it to be, so there is no pressure to decide in the room. The specific risks of your procedure are explained at the consultation and written on the consent form rather than left to a footnote, and the clinic does not publish photographs of intimate treatments on its website.

An English-speaking coordinator is on site and the doctors speak conversational English; the consultation is run so that nothing is decided until you have understood it.

Reading a Korean price list

Three things make intimate-care prices in Seoul easier to compare once you know them. First, VAT: list prices are quoted before 10% VAT, so add it when you budget. Second, unit: device treatments are priced by shot count and injectables by volume, so two quotes are only comparable if the shots or the cc match. Third, scope: surgical items are quoted as single procedures, and combined plans are the sum of the lines, so ask for the lines rather than a total. A published list means you can do this arithmetic before you travel.

Planning from abroad

Send your dates and what you would like addressed on WhatsApp; you do not need to send photographs for intimate care, and the clinic will not ask for them. Allow a day for the consultation and examination before any procedure, and for labiaplasty allow for discharge the same day with aftercare to follow at home. Results differ between individuals, and a procedure that suits one patient is not a prediction for another.
